The Generator System runs in an ultra compact generator that provides central air and heat, as well as, 110 volt electricity for appliances while charging your trucks batteries. The central air/heat unit will also run off "shore power". The generator provides 3.5kw. This premium "Hybrid" APU System with 3.5KW generator and automotive type air conditioning compressor is powered by a horizontal water-cooled Kubota 4 cycle, 1 cylinder, 7 hp diesel engine, with mid speed operation for long life and quiet performance. It provides heat and air while charging the truck battery. This unit provides 12,000 rated BTUs of air conditioning, and 10,000 rated BTUs of heat.
The system generates 3,300 watts of 110v electricity for on board appliances. One-sided service provides easy access to filters, and the ultra compact size fits into the space allowed for a step box. Fuel consumption is approximately 1/10th gallon per hour. A 60 amp battery charger is included. The unit is normally shipped without refrigerant, but, as an option, it can be shipped "pre-charged" from the factory.
